Antares Ingens EV in Chatham-Kent

EV replacement tires are notoriously expensive - EVs are heavy, torquey, and eat rubber. The Ingens EV is Antares' answer: an EV-oriented all-season at a fraction of what the marquee EV tires cost.

Electric vehicles chew through tires 20-30% faster than gas cars, and the OEM-fitment replacements are often $350+ a corner. That math hurts. The Ingens EV is built for the job - quiet (there's no engine noise to hide tire roar) and designed around EV weight - at budget-brand pricing.

It also works fine on regular gas cars in these sizes; nothing about an EV tire is wasted on a Civic. If you want cheap, quiet rubber in a 15-18 inch size, it's a legitimate pick either way.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do EVs really need special tires?

They benefit from them. EVs are heavier and deliver instant torque, so they wear tires faster, and cabin quiet makes tire noise more noticeable. EV-oriented tires target load capacity, wear and noise. That said, any correctly sized and load-rated tire is safe to run.

Will the Ingens EV work on a gas car?

Yes, no problem at all. It's an all-season tire in normal passenger sizes - the EV focus just means it's built quiet and wear-resistant, which benefits any car.

How much do Ingens EV tires cost?

In-stock sizes run about $90-$148 a tire as of July 6, 2026 - compare that to $300+ for the big-name EV fitments. Install $25/tire, HST extra.

What EV sizes do you stock?

The live table on this page shows current distributor stock - popular fitments like 225/45R17 and 225/40R18 are usually deep. Call with your door-jamb size and we'll confirm same-day.
