PC Tires ("we," "us," "our") is operated by Postma Contracting Inc., based in Chatham-Kent, Ontario. - Order information: name, email, phone number, shipping/installation address, vehicle details (year/make/model/VIN)
- Payment information: processed securely by Stripe — we do not store full credit card numbers on our servers
- Account information: if you create a member account, your email and chosen credentials
- Communications: any messages, chat conversations, or service requests you send us
Information collected automatically
- Site usage: pages viewed, search terms, products clicked, session duration (via Google Analytics)
- Device information: browser type, operating system, IP address, screen size
- Cookies: used for cart persistence, login state, and analytics (see Cookies section below)
2. How We Use Your Information
- Process orders: place orders with our supplier (TDG Access), coordinate installation, send confirmation and shipping updates
- Customer service: respond to inquiries, handle returns, provide technical support
- Service appointments: book installation, seasonal changeover, and TPMS service
- Improve the site: analyze usage patterns, fix bugs, optimize the shopping experience
- Marketing: send promotional offers and seasonal reminders (only if you opt in)
- Legal compliance: meet tax, accounting, and warranty obligations
3. Who We Share It With
We do not sell your personal information. We share only with service providers necessary to fulfill your order:
- TDG Access — our tire and wheel supplier, receives shipping address for delivery
- Stripe — payment processor, receives billing information
- Resend — email delivery for order confirmations and notifications
- Cloudflare — website hosting and security
- Google Analytics — anonymized usage statistics
We may also disclose information when required by law, court order, or to protect our rights.
4. Cookies
We use cookies to:
- Keep items in your cart between visits
- Remember your member login
- Analyze how visitors use the site (Google Analytics)
- Track Google Ads conversions on successful orders

5. Data Storage and Security
Your data is stored on servers operated by Cloudflare (with data centres in Canada and the United States) and Stripe. We use HTTPS encryption for all data in transit. Access to your information is limited to staff who need it to perform their jobs.
Cross-border transfers: Some of our service providers (Stripe, Cloudflare, Google) process data in the United States. By using our site, you consent to this transfer. We choose providers that maintain industry-standard security and comply with applicable privacy frameworks.
6. How Long We Keep Your Data
- Order records: 7 years (required for CRA tax compliance)
- Customer account data: until you request deletion or 3 years of inactivity
- Analytics data: 26 months (Google Analytics default)
- Email correspondence: 2 years
7. Your Rights
Under PIPEDA and Quebec Law 25, you have the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate information
- Withdraw consent to marketing communications at any time
- Request deletion of your data (subject to legal retention requirements)
- Data portability — receive your data in a structured format (Quebec residents)
- File a complaint with the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada (priv.gc.ca) or the Commission d'accès à l'information du Québec
8. Children's Privacy
Our site is not intended for use by children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors.
