We want you to be fully satisfied with your purchase. This page explains how returns, exchanges, and warranty claims work at PC Tires.
Quick summary: Unmounted tires and wheels can be returned within 30 days. Manufacturer warranty applies to defects. Installation workmanship is covered by our shop. Read on for details.
1. 30-Day Return Window
You may return unmounted, uninstalled tires and wheels within 30 days of delivery for a refund or exchange, provided:
- Tires/wheels are in original, resaleable condition — no scuffs, mounting marks, road wear, or shipping damage caused after receipt
- Original packaging is intact (where applicable)
- You have proof of purchase (order number or receipt)
How to start a return
- Email [email protected] or call 519-397-4686 with your order number and reason for return
- We'll confirm the return and provide return instructions within 1 business day
- Ship the items back (you pay return shipping unless the return is due to our error or a defect)
- Once received and inspected, refund is processed to your original payment method within 5–7 business days
2. Restocking Fee
A 15% restocking fee may apply to returned tires and wheels, as charged to us by our supplier. This is waived if:
- The wrong item was shipped (our error)
- The product is defective
- The product was damaged in shipping
3. Items That Cannot Be Returned
- Mounted tires — once a tire has been installed on a wheel, it cannot be returned
- Tires that have been driven on — even briefly
- Custom-ordered or special-order items — clearly marked at time of purchase
- Installation labour — services already performed are non-refundable
- Used tires sold as-is
4. Manufacturer Warranty
All new tires and wheels are covered by their original manufacturer's warranty. Coverage varies by brand and typically includes:

For warranty claims, contact us first — we'll guide you through the manufacturer's process. You'll typically need:
- Original proof of purchase
- The tire(s) in question for inspection
- Vehicle service records showing proper maintenance (rotations, alignments)
5. Installation & Workmanship Warranty
PC Tires guarantees its installation workmanship. If you experience an issue related to how we mounted, balanced, or installed your tires or wheels — including improper torque, balance issues, or TPMS sensor damage caused by our installation — return to our Chatham-Kent shop within 30 days and we'll correct it at no charge.
Important: The workmanship warranty does not cover damage caused by potholes, curb strikes, road hazards, under-inflation, misalignment from worn suspension components, or normal wear.
6. Defective on Arrival
If your tire or wheel arrives damaged or defective, contact us within 72 hours of delivery. Take photos of the packaging and the product before unboxing further if possible. We'll arrange a replacement or full refund at no cost to you, including return shipping.
7. Refund Method & Timing
- Refunds are issued to your original payment method (credit card via Stripe)
- Processing time: 5–7 business days after we receive and inspect the returned item
- Original shipping charges are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error
- Installation appointment fees (if booked but not used) are refunded in full when cancelled at least 24 hours in advance
8. Cancellations
Orders can be cancelled for a full refund before they ship. Once an order has been dispatched from our supplier, it must follow the standard return process above.
9. Your Rights Under Ontario Law
This policy is in addition to your rights under the Ontario Consumer Protection Act, 2002, which provides protections including remedies for unfair business practices and false representations. Nothing in this return policy limits those statutory rights.
